There is no doubt that one of the most magical times of the year at Disneyland® is during the holiday season. If you have ever visited Disneyland® during any other time of the year, you may be wondering how it’s possible for Disneyland® to be even better than it already is, seeing as there is so much excitement already in the air. Even if you have visited Disneyland® during the holidays before, we promise you that this year will be even more magical than ever, due to the Diamond Celebration that is currently taking place. If you have the chance to visit while staying in one of the budget-friendly hotels close to Disneyland from now until the end of 2015, we highly encourage you to go!
One of the main aspects of the Holidays at Disneyland® that visitors love is the fact that some of the most popular rides at the Park receive a holiday makeover. It’s a Small World becomes transformed into a winter wonderland complete with holiday music, the Haunted Mansion’s usual characters are replaced with Jack Skellington and other Nightmare Before Christmas characters, and the beloved Jungle Cruise turns into the Jingle Cruise. At Disney California Adventure, Buena Vista Street is fully decorated for the holidays along with a daily tree lighting ceremony that takes place at 5pm. In addition, the community bell ringers will also be around providing holiday cheer for all who visit the area. As far as parades, you can expect Disneyland® Forever, Paint the Night, and A Christmas Fantasy Parade over at Disneyland®. At Disney California Adventure, you can enjoy World of Color- Winter Dreams, which will include some of your favorite characters from Frozen, Bambi, Toy Story, and more. Olaf’s Snow Fest will also be taking place again this year so bring the kids over to have some fun with some real snow!
In addition to all of the holiday cheer that will be taking place, there will also be the beautiful decorations around for Disneyland’s® Diamond Celebration. Downtown Disney will also be putting holiday decorations and have holiday themed food available for guests. Don’t miss the 2015 holiday celebration at Disneyland® and Disney California Adventure®!
