This great fair allows local groups of various cultures and ethnicities to celebrate with the community and raise money. Food and entertainment from German, Irish, English, Polynesian, American, Greek, and Mexican groups all celebrate their cultural differences by providing food, entertainment, and crafts to guests. There is no entrance fee; however Ethnic Street, Arts and Crafts, and Children’s Street may have participation fees.
Enjoy the Long Beach Greek Festival by the Sea, September 1-3, and explore the rich heritage of the Greek culture. There is a small price of admission to help support the festival production team, but you’ll be able to experience live music by the Olympians, exhibit dancing, social dancing, authentic Greek food and product booths, and children’s games all complete the experience, held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach.
Also in Long Beach for Labor Day weekend, is the E Hula Mau Polynesian Festival, featuring hula and chant competitions, art and craft workshops, and island cuisine. The cultural fair is free but individual performances, competitions, and workshops may require a small admission fee.
