There’s so much fun to be had!!!
Disneyland® is currently celebrating the 60th anniversary of Walt Disney’s original theme park in Anaheim and will last until September 5, 2016. At Disneyland®, you’ll experience Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, New Orleans Square, Frontierland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Mickey’s Toontown, Tomorrowland, and maybe see where they are building the new Star Wars land! Also, Disneyland debuted a new nighttime parade called “Paint the Night”, on May 22, 2015, as part of the park’s 60th anniversary.
While at Disneyland®, you’ll get to see various street performers appear throughout the park. The All-American College Band, composed of student musicians from colleges and universities around the U.S. perform all summer! Plus, the Bootstrappers, a rowdy band of pirates inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, sing sea shanties and do buccaneer-style comedy. You can also see the Dapper Dans barbershop quartet, they perform on Main Street. Various jazz and jazz-influenced bands including the Jambalaya Jazz Band, the Side Street Strutters, and the Royal Street Bachelors, play live music in New Orleans Square. The Golden Horseshoe Saloon offers a live stage show with an Old West feel. The Golden Horseshoe Revue was an American frontier-themed vaudeville show starring Sluefoot Sue and Pecos Bill.
